  1. Purpose and Scope


This Data Policy explains how EldrAIr collects, uses, stores, and protects personal and health-related information obtained through its voice-based cognitive screening tool. The policy applies to all users of the EldrAIr platform and associated services.
 

  1. Data Collection


EldrAIr collects and analyses voice biomarker samples during natural conversations. These samples may include:

  • Audio recordings of speech
  • Derived features such as tone, pitch, rhythm, pauses, and language patterns
  • Metadata necessary to provide and improve the service

No additional personal or health data is collected without your knowledge and consent.
 

  1. Purpose of Use


The information collected is used for the following purposes:

  • To provide users with insights about possible early signs of cognitive decline, dementia, and other conditions
  • To support ongoing research and development of the EldrAIr platform, including model refinement and validation
  • To improve user experience, accuracy, and reliability of the system
  • To generate de-identified, aggregated data for health research, policy, and reporting purposes

 

  1. Data Sovereignty and Privacy Compliance


EldrAIr is a sovereign Australian platform. All data is:

  • Collected, stored, and processed within Australia
  • Managed in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs)
  • Protected using secure, de-identified storage systems

We do not sell or share personally identifiable data with third parties.

 

  1. Regulatory Position and Disclaimer


EldrAIr is currently under development as a Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) with a planned pathway to TGA Class IIb approval.

  • Voice samples and derived biomarker data are retained for as long as required to deliver services and conduct ongoing research.
  • Users may request deletion of their personal data in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.

We implement technical and organisational safeguards to protect data, including:

  • Encryption of audio recordings and derived features
  • Access controls and secure authentication for authorised staff only
  • Regular security testing and compliance reviews

As a user of EldrAIr, you have the right to:

  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal data (subject to lawful retention obligations)
